New releases for Two Tiny Turtles and Amy Wolff

I picked up Simone's template days and days ago, but none of my assigned designers did a paper/element kit for this release date.  Finally Amy posted a few new kits.  She didn't have any elements in any of the kits, so I extracted the elements that were included in the overlays.  I like how they turned out.  I'm starting to get a lot faster at extractions.

It's a new month of challenges at The Lilypad.  I bought some AJ type things from the BYOC kits for May.  I put them together for this layout.  After looking at it for a while I decided to change the text on it.  See which you like better.

3rd Slow Scrap layout for iNSD at TLP

This was quite a challenge calling for 24 circles.  Since circles are not an element shape I prefer this was an interesting challenge.  I went for a more AJ look with doodled circles.  The photo is my newest selfie that I liked.  Since the photo size was set by the challenge I had to add some background color to the mat to get avoid blowing the photo up too much.

2nd Challenge layout

This layout looks vaguely familiar to me.  I think I did one nearly the same as this a while back.  This one had the rule of thirds as its basis.  The photo had to be b/w.  I used three stylets to get this harsh grainy look to Brian working on the deck.

iNSD Slow Scrap at TLP

This was posted on 4/30.  But we have all iNSD week-end to complete it.  I knew I wanted to use a new kit and the birthday photo.  The original photo was a bit grainy so I turned it to b/w with RadLab (Magical B/W).

The challenge was to do a scraplift of a traditional paper layout.  I stuck pretty close to the original.
