Little Butterfly Wings Blog Challenge for May

LBW furnished the most adorable template for her May monthly freebie.  I decided to use one of her new kits that I got during iNSD with her mega pack deal (5 kits for $5).  The colors on this go perfectly with Buddy's coloring.

I had to cut and paste sections of the word strips to make them long enough for the ribbon masks.  It was tedious but very successful.  I also colored some of the masks to expend the word strip when the color was flat.  I love the mix of colors and the doodles/paint that came with the template.

One Word Challenge at The Lilypad

This kit was a free with purchase during iNSD.  It has just the right colors and organic feel for a dinner outside on the deck.  I set up the camera with the remote and snapped pictures through the meal.  We had so much fun laughing and being silly during dinner.  At one point a plane flew over and I got that on film too.  But that photo is for another layout.

I heard from Amy Wolff tonight.  I am on her CT now.  Yippee!  I am doing her kits at Scrap Stacks now and I'll be doing them at The Lilypad, too.  Her SS guest spot is only for May.  Perhaps here SS kits will end up at TLP.  No matter.  I'm on her CT!!

Template Challenge

The May Template Challenge at TLP has the cutest template by Mirjam.  I LOVED the doodles borders, but everybody was leaving them on so I decided to switch it up and do a delicate, soft layout.  I opted for a photo of Brian due to the word art.  I had to clone Vivian out of the photo however.
The kit I used was a new one I just got with a gift certificate for winning the random drawing on a blog challenge by Forever Joy.

Super News!!!

I answered a CT call posted at The Lilypad for Gina Miller.  I had a hard time getting my email application to go through to her because I entered the wrong email address to her.  Luckily I PMed her and she responded so I could get it right.  She invited me to join her team.  So I'm behind the scenes at TLP again!  I'm so excited.  She posted new kits for today's release and I got my first layout done for her.  I used a ton of stylets on the photos.
