June 27th release....

My June designer has a new kit releasing on the 27th.  I also wanted to use another designer's template set for the same release date.  The templates used more photos, so this time I hunted for photos first and settled on 6 of a field trip the kids took during their Christmas trip out west.

Same designer, but a different feeling...

I wanted to use some of the more cheerful elements from the designers from yesterday's layout.  I completed the P&C Photo challenge, too.  It is a challenge to use a subject from the front and from the back.  There were a lot to choose from.  I thought Vivi's outfit would fit well with the color scheme I had chosen and I hadn't scrapped these photos yet.

One of the newer designers makes kits that lend themselves to Art Journaling.  I used all her featured favorites for this page.  I think my retirement has a definite negative feel to it judging from this layout and the others I have done.  Oh, well....

June Speed Scrap

This speed scrap has been excruciating!  The computer is working grindingly slow.  In fact, I couldn't finish the posting until today.  I had the actual layout done before the deadline except for all the minutes, scratch that, hours I had to wait for the computer to load between screens and programs.  Here is the layout:

Cranky Hard Drive

My computer keeps sending me nasty messages that I need to contact the manufacturer because there is a problem with my hard drive.  It took 4 tries to get it to start tonight.  Here is the latest layout.

Deena Rutter challenge....

My June designer issued a challenge in the forum and only one person submitted a layout.  I thought it would be good if I played along.  After I made the 12x12 layout, I realized I was supposed to make it an 8.5x11 layout.  Yuk!  I hate that size.  I just adjusted the original to the new size.  It doesn't look nearly as good.  See what you think.
