Here is a layout for the beginning of June.  I thought the two kits would be perfect for the photos of Ewan riding his bike--not too girly.  Of course, I had to use orange because it is Ewan's favorite color.

I made a layout with a kit to be released in a few days.  When I was finished, it seems kind of "immature" in its design so I rearranged all the elements and design to get a layout I think is a bit more sophisticated.  See what you think....

I saw a kit of black and white papers at TLP, but figured I could just recolor some bold pattern paper from P&C to get the same effect.  This LO is very bold but still has a minimalist feel to it.  I decided that Brian needed a layout....

I am still trying to scraplift a LO I saw at The Lilypad with kits from Pixels & Co.  It just doesn't work but I got a result I was satisfied with after 3 days of working on it.

Last challenge....

This was the last challenge for the week-end.  I started this layout yesterday during the evening speed scrap and just ran out of steam.  This morning, I decided I just didn't like what I had done so far and scratched it and used a kit I've liked from a while ago.  It still isn't exactly what I would have done on my own -- but that's the way speed scraps work at P&C.  You copy the leader's design....

Three layouts in one day!

iNSD is a busy time for CTs.  I am trying to participate in the challenges since I didn't host any of them or participate in the CT hop.  The first layout is a challenge using a provided template.  I thought it would be a snap since it started with a template--WRONG.  In the middle of working on it, it became time to join in with the Speed Scrap. 

The speed scrap was already in full swing when I joined it.  I jumped in and finished a little over the time limit but it doesn't matter since I don't qualify for the prizes.  The speed scrap layout is the second one: The Jersey Shore.

The next layout goes with a Bingo game.  The hostess put elements on a bingo card and you had to choose a row, column or diagonal to make a layout with all those pieces. "Fun Starts Here" is the title of that layout.

Finished two challenges....

It is iNSD, actually international scrapbook "week-end".  P&C has a whole bunch of games and challenges.  My extra duty this week is to be present in a big way in the forum, so I thought I would play the games.
This first layout was a color layout.  You had to take a quiz to see what color you were.  I took the quiz twice since I didn't like the first color (I had answered questions like I would in an ideal world).  The second color wasn't one I particularly like either.  Here it is (can you guess my color):

This second layout is the challenge I finished tonight or should I say this morning.  It's 2:30 am.  The game was to challenge the person ahead of you in the forum thread for the game to make a layout in a specific way.  The person who joins the thread after you then gives YOU a challenge.  Samantha challenged me to put three extractions into a layout using 3 photos.  It took me a while to review how to use the Magic Extractor.  It was challenging but fun.

Bermuda Triangle is the giant collaborative kit the designers put together just for this event.  The customers can do a blog hop to collect letters and get the kit free.

 



New assignment....

My May designer is Willemijne of Digital Scrapbook Ingredients.  I had used some blooms on a previous layout, but now I needed to do a layout with just her designs and I needed to do it before today.  I was scrapping until 10 pm last night.  I think it turned out pretty cute.
