BYOC Challenge, Style Challenge and Photography Challenge for April at The Lilypad

I got three more challenges done and it was only the first day of April -- NO FOOLIN'!!

I'm getting such a head start on the challenges this month (mistakes and all).  Last month I got a really slow start.  I think I can be done this month before the week-end is even finished.

Here is the layout I did for the BYOC challenge:

I used RadLab to soften the colors and to lighten this photo of Brian taken on Easter morning before church.

The Photography Challenge:
I goofed on this one by not reading the directions fully and made a couple of older photos for the challenge originally.  I had to switch out the layout because the photo using the rule of thirds had to be a NEW photo.  Luckily, it was sunny and I took a NEW photo of Buddy in the sunshine.  I put the original layout for this challenge into the Random Challenge which was about making the page with one color.

The Style Challenge was to use the clean and simple design.  It was explained that the style might not be a minimalist page.  I went with a larger photo but few elements for my C&S design of Ewan.  He was smiling and I caught the squinty look which I thought was so cute.
